Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer Specifications

Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer Specifications are based on European vehicle manufacturers, the prescribed vehicle specifications are based on the motor tests of the ACEA (Association des Contructeurs Europeens d'Auto mobiles) or the API (American Petroleum Institute).

In order to achieve a manufacturer approval for a certain oil, in addition to the respective ACEA/API test procedure, further motor tests and requirements must be fulfilled.
